Mobile Weapon 2: Developer Diary #3

Here's the new concept sketch for your main character in MW. Well actually it's not that new since it's the concept sketch DZ did for MW:Multiplayer even before MW1. I just modified it a little to get a different style.

Oh yeah, "*pinkymermaid" has started working with Malc and I on Pocket Cafe. So expect to see a number of blog posts on development updates this new game series from TYLER.

You need to try and either visualise the original MW1 characters as sketches before comparing or imagine the MW2 sketch as a full colored artwork.

The MW:1 version looks more like how I would envision a new adventurer, and the MW:2 concept looks more like someone brought up in a garage working on giant machines. I like the new one more, but he seems to have a bit of a bad attitude.

Well your character was brought up by Ron in a garage surrounded by big machines.

And yup, attitude was what I thought was missing from the original guy.

he looks awesome with a great amount of attitude, but kind of looks like calisto filio

lol no offence but i dont understand how could ppl like the character from the MW1....
i do very much prefer the second one.
i think i would be better if he carry a spinner on his waist on something or maybe have one of his arm wearing a armour.
and yeah i think if u going to change the main character u may as well change art style of every characters may take a long time....

Nice, I like the new look. The hair looks a little too calisto-ish but other than that its awesome. The atitude ajustment looks good because

a) he was raised in rons garage and should look machine building-ish

b) He's an orphan.

c) may suit atitude people, like CZ

Nice. The new design looks far more crowded, but I like it. It had always been my opinion that the original Jin was a little open-ended...
